Dress Code
Your choice of casual bowls clothes or club uniform can be worn on all our club bowling days.
Casual clothes means neat casual dress including collared shirt (mufti) and approved bowling footwear that must have flat soles and no heels.
Club uniforms are required for:
- Championships games at Club, District or Regional Levels,
- Pennants competitions between clubs,
- Our club carnivals which are open to other clubs to compete.
- We also wear uniform for 2 special mixed bowls days. Anzac day and “Shirts vs Skirts”.
Competitive Bowling
Competitive bowling is provided via:
- Club Championships: Minor and Major Singles, Rookies’ Singles, Pairs, Triples and Fours. The timetable for each event is set by the Club. Bowlers may form own teams. These events are open to all members except that those who have previously won a Minor Singles competition may not compete in that event again
- Events at other clubs: A mix of Club selections and self-entries.
- Pennant Competitions: Metro North-East Bowls inter-club competitions for women, men and open gender are played over a number of weeks on a home-and-away basis. Teams are selected by the Club.

- Non-members who are interested in bowls lessons,
- Barefoot bowlers who are interested in maybe starting bowls
- Or any who just need a few hints to improve their game.
We can organise another day if this isn’t convenient, that suits you better.
